1979년에 태어났다. 주로 몽환적인 나라들을 탐험하는 이야기를 쓰며, 2011년 이후부터 그림작가 도나티앵 마리와 함께 익살스러우면서 시적 정서가 가득한 작품을 만들고 있다.

Bérengère Cournut is an acclaimed French writer. Her first books mainly explored dreamlike territories. Since 2011, she regularly collaborates with Donatien Mary to invent universes where text and images dialogue in a facetious and poetic spirit (Palabres and Schasslamitt, Attila). In 2019 was published De pierre et d'os (Le Tripode) awarded by the “Prix du Roman Fnac 2019”.
